Introducing our flagship lacrosse shaft, the Pecan Hickory. Known for its incredible impact strength, this shaft is both tough and flexible, providing a substantial feel in your hands. Weighing approximately 250 grams (8.8 ounces) for a 30” attack shaft, it’s engineered for peak performance on the field.

Hickory is the first exclusively American hardwood species, historically revered by pioneers who relied on its strength for wagon wheels. Later, the Wright Brothers crafted their iconic “flying contraption” from hickory. As the hardest and strongest American wood, hickory is a symbol of durability.

The sapwood features a pale white color with subtle brown streaks, while the heartwood ranges from pale to reddish brown. Both types possess a coarse texture and fine grain that is typically straight, though occasionally wavy or irregular. Hickory is celebrated for its excellent strength and shock resistance, making it extremely tough and resilient—perfect for the demands of lacrosse.

I had a measly one-stick order-that had to be done ASAP for coach, because the next Tuesday was the end of season party. I put my order through, and realized it probably wouldn’t get to me before the party. Emailed the day after to see about changing the shipping—-they made it happen.

Amazing Customer Service and Shafts

When my son asked if he could use his traditional stick for his senior year, his coach said, "no". So my husband and I set out to find some solid wood shafts for him to add to his stash.

We purchased a 60" Hickory and it was delivered before his season started. The day he started using the shaft and scored his first varsity Pole Goal with it! After 3 games, the shaft meet its unfortunate demise and snapped in half on a well placed slap check to the arm of an opponent, so we promptly ordered 2 more. Unfortunately USPS took their time in delivering the shaft, but that is no fault of the company, they attempted to find the shafts and kept us informed of what they were doing to get them to us as soon as they could. As soon as we received them he set them up and off to practice.

My son absolutely loves this shaft, he loves the weight, the feel, and he especially loves that his opponents no longer want to dodge on him and just pass the ball away from him. His teammates are also starting to look at them as an option for next season, and even college. We will definitely be purchasing many more 60" shafts in the future as he will be playing at the next level.
