Pecan Hickory
The classic Hikstik feel
Pecan Hickory is our most popular wood and probably the easiest place to start if you’re not sure which shaft to choose.
It has the warm, traditional look people tend to picture when they think of a wooden lacrosse shaft. A 30" Pecan Hickory shaft weighs about 8.8 oz - lighter than two lacrosse balls.

Iron Wood
Our heaviest, most substantial option
Iron Wood is the heaviest Hikstik wood, but at 14.1 oz, it's still lighter than three lacrosse balls.
It has a more substantial feel in the hands and a darker, distinctive look compared with Hickory and Red Oak.
Some players simply like the feeling of a little more weight in their shaft. If that sounds like you, Iron Wood is probably the option you’ll want to look at first.

Red undertones and beautiful grain
Red Oak has a clean, classic appearance with gorgeous reddish undertones and visible grain. A 30" Red Oak shaft weighs about 9.5 oz - about as light as two lacrosse balls.
